Sandwiches

Probably get more joining in if we swap Trick Of The Week for Sandwich Of The Week.

Edit: I quite like cheese and salad with a little sweet chili sauce and a bag of Walkers Baked on the side at the mo.

Actually, can’t think of many or even any meals that aren’t enhanced by two bits of bread wrapped round it. Maybe soup or ice cream.

There is literally a thing called an ice cream sandwich and it’s excellent.

You know its not a bread sandwich though right?

Also soup is infinitely better with bread

Cheese, salami and rocket in a crunchy baguette.

Crayfish with a lemony, spicy sauce, in a crunchy baguette.

Thick, good ham with butter and wholegrain mustard in a crunchy baguette.

Pulled pork with coleslaw, lingonberry jam and rocket in a bun.

Gorgonzola with caramelized onions and balsamic vinegar cream. In any kind of bread.

Brie and sweet peppers in a crunchy baguette.

I’m so hungry right now.

It’s excellent. I make some at mine every once in a while. They’re probably not very Phillyesque but always make me happy.

Can’t remember if I saw this here already and if abp but kind of relevant

Cheese and Marmite for the win. Preferably chunky bread (white or brown is fine) or a big breadcake. Ciabatta also decent. Lots of butter, slabs of extra mature cheddar or wensleydale. Maybe double Gloucester at a push. Crisps acceptable but not essential.
