Long thought that the vulc version of Dylan’s Gravis shoe was basically an Authentic without laces anyway. The silhouette is really similar.
The HUF version felt like a totally different shoe and the shape of that Vans Authentic Slip looks way more like the original Gravis. I’d deffo skate a pair.
According to Slap there’s some licensing thing in place where Vans Japan are able to do a bunch of region specific styles - or if they do make it to the US and Europe it’s at a much later date.

Dylan came out when the shoes were released and said they were dress versions of Vans so not sure why everyone is getting upset.
He always wore authentics and slipons anyone, its hardly a massive reach…

Seem to remember last resorts have soles where the grip is designed no to pick up small stones. So the grip is kind of angled and not straight cut.
Yeah, a lot of brands do this; licensing with more cut-off markets, allowing them to create product the local territory managers feel they need which if hits, it taken onboard by the main company.
Seen it a fair bit over the years, and if its a hit it works well.
The sinkers, though…ouch.
