Just pulled the trigger on a pair of éS Silo from Decimal, stoked to see what they’re like as I love the Sesla (RIP).
The soles are immaculate and there’s no heel wear. They’ve probably just deteriorated because they’re cheaply made skateboard shoes.
Anybody skated the adidas matchcourt slip-ons? Not sure if slip-ons in general are an awful idea? Tempted though.

Was wondering when something like this would pop up on the retro vibe. I had them in black, with bright blue paint splatters on them. (Tried spraying them black, but didn’t look much better!)

I’d wear a pair of Vision Shockwave. Those were the shit. One of the first skate shoes that looked like a regular dope shoe too.
I had the DV9s and the Shockwaves back in the day. Seem to remember there were loads of both floating around on eBay about 5 years ago
I was going to chime in here and say that I wish Airwalk still did Vics, but then I looked it up and they do, and they don’t look as good as I remember, and they’re £95, so fuck that

I had Shockwaves, as well as DV9s. I remember cutting down the Shockwaves into low-tops!

Ha! Correct. One or two have been tolerable (I’m thinking of some Max Schaaf Vans, maybe?) but you’re absolutely right.
Yeah I’d wear those, though I’d be well aware that i’d be skimming the edge of the law
