Shoes

Don’t think they’ve got them in stock at the moment, but these are the socks for when my feet deserve a treat

Failing these, Uniqlo

Palace towelling socks all the way.

First time skating these today. They’re probably the cosiest skate shoes I’ve had in years. They seem a little wider and more flexible than the last pair of NBs I had, along with a crazy level of almost “sticky” grip. Really stoked on them, but unfortunately the mental imagery I had of actually skating like Westgate remained figments of my imagination. Will be buying another pair.

Edit - stoked on how the double quote doubles the size of the image. Nice.

My first wedding was K3s and an Extra Large(?) (Beasties brand) weird polyester shirt.

Didn’t make that mistake for wedding #2

Are we advocating this kind of look? This was at a racecourse I went to about 7 years ago. It was very wide spread. Didn’t realise it was still going.

No, absolutely not. What’s up with those jeans? That’s a disaster all round and an example of how not to do it. No socks and loafers/ boaters has been a thing since the 50’s and when a classic style gets hijacked by clueless ‘on trend’ nobbers they always never fail to fuck it right up.

Almost rocking jeggings there

All I think of when when somebody mentions loafers. No socks and leggings.

First thing this made me think of was those sea shanty lads that went viral.

Is this a good example or bad?

Depends what sort of trouser you’re into.

Anything other than those skinny jeans will look ok with a driving shoe or loafer so long as there is no colour clash or weird material clash.

Me too. With shorts or chinos/khakis with a bit of room in them and then rolled up a bit. Not good with jeans unless you’re a woman. Think prep/ Ivy League not cokey pub twat.

Aldo a good place to start for an entry level slip-on shoe.

I get that some maniac somewhere can think Brexit was a good idea, but this thread has really thrown me.
