Fun Moses fact: His real name is Joosef and he got the name Moses because when he was a kid he and his little crew from Mission called themselves M.A.S.S. (Mission Association of Serious Skaters). He’d written it on his griptape but done a bad job of it and it looked like he’d written ‘Moses’. He had the piss taken out of him for it and the nickname stuck. Or so I heard.

(*we used to call him Noses Itkonen, for obvious reasons).

Yep, and he arrived in the States after living in Egypt, hence the nickname.

I always had a feeling that a lot of the Red Dragons were kind of jock Brians.

One kid wearing two, or two kids each wearing one?

Ha, one kid wearing a full pair.
Should have asked him about how he managed to get 2.

Did the Last Resort VM001 Lottie’s high make it’s way across to any UK shops?

It’s the only navy suede high they seem to do, but I can’t find them anywhere.

Never mind, turns out you can buy direct from their website

I’m sure Vaughan Baker skated those Con’s soles in the 90s, haha (not the AllStar upper). I think he had a Converse flow deal BITD, right? Anything 90s is hot right now!

(Edit: that’s not the clip I was looking for but it kind of shows what I’m getting at, the shoes where in ‘Chillin’).

Vaughan was 100% getting Converse then, only ever saw him in the chunky ones though. Ben Leyden too.

These Chany pro shoes were out around then.
Mmmmn, Helium tech

Stick and extra zero on the old price tag and those would kill right now.

Also why would you keep a Globe box? That’s like keeping an old Cornflakes box.

If these D&G abominations are going for £1200+ you’re probably right.

Yeah, not sure about that runner toe on those. Makes 'em look weird.

I think the UK team was Vaughan, Rushbrooke and Simon Skipp back then. Maybe Leyden…but I think he was just always Emerica.
