Was just in the asics outlet and they had these puppies. Little modification and these could’ve been the skate shoes.

The only modification required to make those skate shoes is to stick them on a skateboarder’s feet.
(The gum soles look particularly skateable).

If anyone is a Uk 7 and doesn’t mind slightly worn, I have a ton of Busenitz ( with a turned over tongue ) up for grabs…
They stay folded if tied over, to keep them down without removal, sadly every time I buy a pair of these I end up not liking them for one reason or another, these I sold to someone for 23 shipped I love the look but my feet are always on another page
Busenitz are one of my faves, haven’t had a pair in a few years though, all this chat has got me hyped might have to go in again

I’ve got a pair of size 8s if anyone wants some. I got then cheap but they’re too narrow for my feet. Just chuck a donation to the Ben Raemers foundation and someone can have them. I should say the tongue has been cut

Always fancied some busenitz, they are a beautiful shoe, tried many pairs on when I see them but they always feel like a high heel. Bought some NB Epics though which are kinda similar. Even if I did crack and buy some Busenitz, not sure I would/could skate in them.

The toe box is really nice and they do skate well. The high heel really pushes you onto the ball of your foot which is weird at first for sure
Other people seem to feel that the thick heel makes heelflip based tricks easier but I can’t fuck with it. Made loads of my tricks feel really squirly and unpredictable

the first time i skated a pair of busenitz (black/gold colourway) was the only day i’ve ever had sw big heels on lock
i can vividly remember that and one other day where i could do nollie flips every try, barely been able to do either since

They do feel like a high heel…you have a tipped forward feeling in them. Makes you skate on the balls of your feet like the man himself haha!

Absolutely loved the original black and gold ones. Definitely down for some more but I have no idea what size they were so I’d need to try some on.
