Shoes

Honestly, best sole I’ve ever tried. Gutted I didn’t manage to try them when the Reynolds were out, but the Spanky G6’s are beaut. I’m fully converted now.

Look like cab toegard

That is very similar. Wasn’t it originally that Spanky wanted a skatable Jordan?

Makes sense to simplify it in that direction, the original toe design was a bit clunky.

Yes plz.

Can anyone recommend some insoles for skating in? I get sore knees from the repeated impacts from skating flatground, ledges etc which builds up particularly if I’m trying a new trick.

I had some footprint insoles a few years back but couldn’t really tell if they helped or not. They do a few different types and I’ve no idea which would be best.

Emerica G6 insoles or the éS Energy Foam insoles.

The G6 ones are squishy and rebound nicely, and the Energy Foam ones are firmer and a tad thicker in the heel.

G6 would be my pick, though.

+1 on the Es insoles.

Got the stock insoles that come with the Accel OG but seriously thinking about getting those Energy Foam ones.

You 100% should.

Question for the room: Adidas skate shoes… Are they narrow? Should I size up? I normally wear Vans UK8.

I often find them narrow and go half a size up, this doesn’t always help but it was fine with my Puig’s.

Not that narrow, about average. I’m Vans UK8, you must size up, so get adi UK8.5

Definitely try on first. I’m a UK8 Vans and had to wear a 9 in some adidas.

True to size for me.

Same for me as well - I buy an 8 in everything and had 3 pairs of Adi’s fit ok. The two that were a bit strange were some Superstar ADVs and Busenitzeses. Both of them my feet were too “tall” for? Like they fit perfect except the top of my foot bulging the tongue out.

The first Busenitz is a weird shoe, the heel is so much higher than the front. Love the look of them but wouldn’t buy any more.

I loved that Busenitz shoe but had to go half a size up.
