If you are in any way adjacent to a woman, nail varnish remover will probably take that shit straight off

A little dip in some petrol and applying a lit match to the printed area would also suffice.

There is a version of that shoe without all the accessorising.

A pro shoe according to all the comments.

Please can I see this IRL on your feet otherwise I don’t believe this exists.

The fake dipped toe is such an Ellington thing. Look comfy though and at that price. A save for Spring/Summer colour way for sure.

Had to go buy a dog lead today so popped into pretend, as it was literally next to the local pet shop to where I am.

Saw some more hours in the flesh they are sick.

Just to check here…

So Ellington and Herman are doing/on separate brands, both basically re-releasing their Emerica models, and the brands are called HRS and Hours Is Yours, and Herman was on the Ellington one when it very first started but now he’s doing the other one?

And both brands look like pretty much the same thing too, right?

I thought Ellington had dipped to ride for Li-Ning. I cannot keep up.

I’m not 100% certain, but I think HRS and Hours Is Yours is the same thing. And as @Dent_Face said; Ellington is doing the Li-Ning ting.

Or something.

What the hell is Li-Ning?

EE still have HRS in his bio.

Ah, so he skates for Li-Ning and owns HRS.

This is Li-Ning. Ellington has 2-3 pro shoes on them.

So Ellington is double dipping? Like his classic Emerica pro shoe! Was he anticipating his late career sponsorship moves by designing a two-tone colourway all those years ago? So many questions.

I have never heard of this brand. Bruce Lee x Ellington pro shoes? Wild

Think I remember reading that HRS isn’t a skate shoe brand although in some cases is influenced by skateboarding. Pretty sure it was originally the same thing but it split off with Hours Is Yours being it’s own brand fixed in skateboarding. Confusing considering they didn’t change the names or anything but that’s my understanding. Pretty sure Lucien and Rory were listed as riders in the first incarnation of whichever came first, along with Ellington and Herman. This was pre LV and Vans for them though.

EDIT: Bit of digging and I found this: HRS: Erik Ellington And Bryan Herman's New Shoe Brand - Transworld SKATEboarding

Odd launch photo with Lucien wearing Nikes and Rory wearing Vans.

Li-ning is a Chinese basketball shoe brand I think? They might do garish running shoes too. I think some of the Ellington models look quite good but I am a self-confessed fan of ugly skate shoes.

30% to 50% off loads of good shoes on the Vans site plus an extra 20% off everything with the BOXING20 promo code until midnight I think.

Ordered some winter shoes and some Lizzies (and some fake Crocs).

Looks like they might just about stay in business long enough to release these.

Still haven’t worn either of the pairs I ordered in the last sale.

Would be rude not to get another pair though

Luckily, there was nothing good in my size.

Decided to pull the trigger on these though - it’s taken 3 pairs, but I’ve finally come round to loving Last Resorts. Not for skating in though, way too thin, just for looking jazzy on dates.
