Shoes

They look properly weird on anybody over 30. Full on “aging hipster at the student party” vibes.

Let’s not - what the fuck were we doing in the 44” waist cut off denim years?

Hahaha!

Add eBay tassels = job done!

Last Resort continues to be a convenient way to look like you only shop in Zara

TBF, I like Last Resort AB’s - shame mine kill my little toe and I can’t fix it.

Not sure why everyone hates them so much.

The colours and styles aren’t for everyone but it’s skater owned and……different?

Would take these over 95% of Vans.

Have to agree - I haven’t liked any new (I.E. non-legacy) Vans is a long while.
Love the brand but most of the new stuff I’ve seen is deffo not for me.
With that said, I’m 50 with plantar fasciitis so who knows

I don’t think they’re too bad either and they’re still fairly new in the grand scheme of things as well. I’d like to see a cupsole model from them.

I managed to cure my plantar fasciitis a few years back. Insoles and stuff didn’t work, steroid injections didn’t work…the only thing that worked for me was maxing out the arch support to the extent of balling up a sock and wedging it under the arch of my foot in my shoe. I literally had to force the arch upwards. It was uncomfortable for a while but my foot got used to it, stopped flattening out, and the arch repaired itself. Maybe worth a try, just thought I’d mention it.

This. The last non-classics/skate classics/skate line Vans I skated were the Stage 4 mids 15 years(?) ago and they were amazing. Other than those its been nowt but half cabs, slipons, sk8his, old schools and rowley OGs.

Just got onto my second pair of AVE’s and they’re good but lack in protection around the sides of my feet. Too old to test the impact protection but I like them at around the £50 mark. £100? Nope.
