Not sure why you’d not just use the webbing loops.
Sometimes the shoe’s real close, but just needs more lace holes.
For some reason I always wear through webbing loops.
And I just think shoes look better laced through holes.

I quite liked the Salazar, not enough to buy a pair though.
I had to look at those monstrosities on the shoe wall for so long.

I remember I wanted to buy a pair of Omar’s so bad (bc I love him) but they were so stinking I just couldn’t!

Yeah I liked the Salazar too. Tbh I’m a bit of a fan of all the weird not a dunk Nike SB stuff.

Decided to try the new Figgy shoe, alongside picking up another pair of Spanky’s before they go forever.
G6 sole is so good. I could never ever go back to a vulc now aside from the pair of vulc slip ons I have as house shoes.

How do they skate?
I’ve only skated the Figueroa since they came out, had a pair of the Dose but then switched back when they reissued the first ones. Ideal fitting skate shoe for me
I have no idea yet, I’ve only worn them round the house for a little bit to be sure that they fit ok.
All I skate/wear are the Wino G6 slip cups and the Spanky G6, love those. The fit is closer to a slip on, but with more structure.
Same sole as the other shoes mentioned above so I’m used to how that feels.
