Shoes

I tried the 4’s but they felt like a shitter pair of Vans, the toe stitching came right away. All the dimensions felt off.

Fucking hell. I was sat here being all judgemental as you all out yourself as owners of P-Rod shoes… then I remembered that I had a pair of them too in 2006 iirc.

to be fair everyone was stoked on them when it was 1 or 2 models, after that it was proper sales bin time.

What a terrible time to have eyes

I do remember these. They’re absolutely rancid.

Me too.

Missing P-Rod 2.5 which was a vulc I think.

They’re all shapeless nothings! The only one with a decent shape is the pink and green ones. be interesting to see in a different colour.

EDIT: nah, still look rubbish.

At least P’rod has a type. As bland as his skating, life, YT channel etc etc

Bit harsh, he’s a nice guy just… ya know…

The es Koston 5’s were originally designed as his pro shoe. Somewhere in the depths of the internet there’s an image of samples with his name on aswell.

Air max ishod insoles

Every time I see this shoe, all I could think of is this lego brick is in the heel.

What?! Those PLUS the bubble in the sole?

Serious case of pareidolia on the air bubble.

I think the clear bit in the sole is a window to the bubble. Was the same with those cortezish things they did recently.

The Cortezish things (BSRB maybe?) it was just a window to the inner sole - no actual air bubble at all…

This I believe is true now that you say that

P-Rods shoes after the second or third one all felt very much like parts bin specials. I would be keen for a white pair of the first ones though.

I went to the wear test of those at peak ‘limitless Nike budget’ era.
Flew to Portland for a week, interviewed P Rod (literally) for 5 minutes and then didn’t do anything.
Balling!
Did 27 kickflips in a row in those as part of the wear test. Then came home and gave them to a kid at the skatepark.

That was some rant about Nike, may all have been valid for all I know but they really went for it.
