It’s a bit of a mad game with vintage stuff. Price too low and everything sells right away and ends up being flipped. Price too high and it goes nowhere. With certain things, you put them out there just for people to look at, there’s no real intention of selling them at the high price but if someone wants them they will get in touch. It’s like that with a lot of antiques and art and collectibles. If you get good stuff you can’t really punt it out too quick.
I have sold a load of stuff cheap at Spit and Sawdust car boot sales in the past and to be honest I regret it, would rather sit on it and wait for a collector to get in touch. But yeah it’s a weird one.
If you look at the price recent SB Dunks and stuff go for, and how common they are compared to these Blueprint Abingtons the price starts to look more reasonable. But as ever, standard response when someone says the price is too high is ‘no worries, find another one’
Anyone tried the new balance 440’s? About to order by 3rd successive pair of 1010’s but been swayed at the checkout but not 100% on sizing. Take an 8.5 in the 1010’s vs an 8 in every other brand.
