Anybody skated Es swifts? They look like they are based off the Marana. I’m tempted but worry that mesh panel on the side will get shredded super quickly.

Ive skated several they skate great, easily up there on my top shoes, for me that part did wear but no faster then the rest of the shoe

I’ve skated about 6 pairs in recent years, they’re in my all-time top 3 skate shoes. Lighter and more flexible than a Marana - you’d need to have the weirdest foot movement for the sidewalls to blow out before the rest of the upper.

Anyone know much about New Balance made in England?
I’ve wanted a pair of the 1500s for ages, and every time I check the website they have barely any colours and never anything in my size, and haven’t seemed to have a restock in what feels like years.
Feels like it’s literally just 1 guy in Cumbria making them at this rate

I have some 1500s and I think they’re MIE as well, had them ages, think I got them from Hanon (RIP). But this was like 15 years ago. They are still going strong and super comfy.
Just watched Spirit Quest. Ryan Barlow’s skating in Pumas in his section and they look dope. Anyone know what model they are?

Na I see what your saying but they arnt as thick as they appear, I believe they were going for that extended front bumper/toe area I’m assuming for durability my toes sit about middle of that rubber in the front the back has the air bag so probably I little higher if that all makes since haha
I think they nailed the classic skate shoe feel honestly

Got well confusing when converse had that version of the ‘pro leather’
They could have named the shoe Converse Faux Leather or perhaps could have portmanteau’d it…Converse PLeather.
My mate Leo is skating these at the minute and loves them. They look really skateable broken in, all smooth rounded edges.
