I can’t remember where I saw the review of them, but there’s (at least at the time of that publication) no midsole, just a chunkier rubber sole.

First 2 weeks are great and then most overnight what’s left of them becomes soggy waffle.
I spent a year or so convincing myself that my old man body needed super tech cupsoles but I’ve been skating some old Huf vulc things and I love them. Basically a flimsy blazer and the polar opposite of a 1010 or something like that.
I’ve always found NB stuff bang on TTS but I’m aware that’s unusual for most people. Would be keen to try the Villanis.
I was given a few pairs of the Huf Mercer back when I did a bit of filming for Out Of Step. I loved those.
Looks like yours have a similar sole?
I invested in one of these and man it does make a worlds difference some days

The laces set up is reminiscent of the early 90’s and having a rolled up sock behind the tongues .

Having them all the same looseness does look strange. Getting looser towards the top would be fine, but it’s weird seeing the laces looking the same from bottom to top.
Anyone wear a 10.5 in Half Cabs? I’ve got some hardly worn navy and gum if anyone wants, for not much / trade or something
Anybody tried these? I usually want a bit more heel support, but I like the one-piece taping, the thin tongue and the pictures of cats. Seem quite pricey but if they work as good as they look I’d be keen to try them.
