Supra still seems to live off the fact Skytops were on all the celebs in Hollywood and in music for a (relatively) small time about 12 years or so ago.
Which if I remember the Muska interview right, most were gifted in the first place.
I had a pair of Dixons, kind of liked them. Just didn’t fee right for me
I’m sure one of early Ellingtons was quite cool, a complete copy of his Emerica shoe but no air bubble.
That was promising but I can’t even remember if it ever came out like that.

I got a pair of these from Note for about £15, had nothing to lose getting them, my go to chillers for a while, but I’m 39 so can get away with it for while longer…
Haven’t ever skated in Supra’s in fact I don’t think I know anyone that has.

There were GORE-TEX Wallabees and other Vibram-soled Clarks on sale dirt cheap in Boundary Mill a few months back, I got some right nice work shoes I did
Cuba’s / Cubans were good. When Vaughn was at Supra and Watts was on, he linked me a bunch of Sky Lows to skate – they were rad.
Had one mate who skated a shit load of Dixon’s, we sold a lot of those BITD.

I like the idea, and I’m a big Wallabe fan…I have several pairs on the go at any one time…but I have been fooled by ‘improvements’ before and will never get them with anything other than a crepe sole ever again.
Also, if you just spray them with Scotchguard when you get them they become the best wet weather shoe going.
I am currently debating whether or not to buy the new Nike ACG Skarn in black. I don’t generally buy Nike because they don’t fit me too well but ACGs are one of my personal fetishes.
