I think they’d be ok if they just weren’t quite as big, on foot they look bigger than almost any past/present DC I can think of.
Is that colourway for sale?
The Vans one in the same colour was promo only, I believe.

I initially didn’t see the black sole and thought that was like a weird Cuban heel type shape. So glad I was wrong.

The lace loops are giving me early 00s Adidas skate shoe vibes, and the toe cap and side panel is reminding me of these awful Reef skate shoes I had in 2001 - so neither are particularly great
The resolution on that photo is making me think I might have cataracts. My potato-vision aside, looking down on the toe piece it seems to have shades of Circa Muskas (901/2).

I still don’t think those LV’s were too bad, bit of shame it wasn’t an actual pro shoe but oh well.
Stevie Williams pulled them off pretty well.
The LVs looked great imo. The Lucien’s looks slimmer on his feet, and I’d be keen for some in a less tennis ball colour. They don’t have a huge amount of padding around the ankle like old skate shoes did.
HUF Airmax. Surprised I haven’t seen this on here yet, considering the love for both things. Didn’t Huf have a DVS shoe that was essentially an Airmax copy at one point as well?

Kind of sad that obviously an Airmax of some description would’ve been his ideal shoe and he never lived to see the collab.
