Vans slip ons… Acceptable or not? Got bought a pair and they’re going to get skated in.

Not sure I’d fancy skating a pair personally.

With jeans, ok, with shorts they’ve definitely in yaught rock territory. Think I might ruin my gazelles instead

Second time around they thought very hard and sent me some style 95s. They weren’t perfect, but I kept them.

Acceptable yet unacceptable I say because the slip on will last u at least the year

yeah I agree :joy:

I used to skate Vans slip ons a lot about 12 or so years ago…
They last for a decent session if you do flip tricks.
A week if you only ollie.
Two weeks if you just skate mini ramp because they blow out as you run down a transition a lot and get saggy, fast.
If you make everything and exit the ramp after every run, you might get a month out of them.

Very Palace -esque but not as good (Dime ad)

What about if you mainly sit around talking bollocks and do the occasional scratch grind/ lame flatground trick?

I don’t think I’ve ever seen an adidas collab where the collab version is better than the original.

All summer, broski! Yewwwwww!

I had some Anti-Hero Vans slip ons. Blue and black with the cow on the insole. Loved em!

Pulman inspired me to get some canvas checkerboard ones, but they were very stiff. The suede ones stretch out a bit and are more comfortable.
