Shoes

Not the ugliest Cab shoe by any means but I’m not sure anyone was crying out for it either.

Utterly stinking.

Can’t see anything particularly stinking about that myself.

The Cab 7 on the other hand…

Sticking on that Mortal Kombat Logo, even on a decent pair stinks them up instantly.

Stinking but won’t fall apart and turn into a soggy Cornish pasty like the half cabs do .

It’s a bit like the shoe a Playmobil skate kid would be wearing

I thought the Etnies Natas shoe was the first pro shoe :man_shrugging:

It was, released in ‘88. The Cab shoe came out the following year.

Thought so. Vans telling fibs on their advert haha

Semantics  Vans could wriggle out of that by saying, ‘oh is that what you thought? No, we weren’t lying. We meant it was Cab’s first signature shoe.’

This should go under not stoked. I have a pair of nb 808s and somehow when I walk in the rain, water is getting absorbed into the shoe on the outer arch. I’ve checked the shoe and there’s nothing undone or unstuck in the stitching or where the sole meets the upper. My only guess is there’s a hole somewhere in the little exposed cushion foam in the middle of the sole but upon inspection I don’t see anything..??

Anyone else encountered this problem?

The other shoe is perfect.

The suede Toes on 808s absorb water like crazy IME. I also tried to break them in when walking my dog but nope. Months and miles later, still tight as hell.

Has the Cab just turned into Vans version of the Dunk? Everyone gets to do a collab/colour way now?

How to make two nice shoes and slap them together, making a stinking final product.
