Just by sheer weight of time the royalties he must have earned from that shoe by now must be absolutely insane, assuming they haven’t bought him out of his initial agreement like Nike did with Janoski.
I go bought a pair earlier this year for nostalgia sake and as I loved that shoe, they seem a lot bigger than I remember. It’s been my everyday shoe for a few months nice and comfy, not skated them though.
Haven’t watched. Will need subtitles.
If this is his shoe, he has potential make big bucks considering how many customers decathlon have.

I can see this move from Decathlon really working out the more I think about it.
Unfortunately not for any skater-owned shoe companies, or big shoe companies that employ skateboarders to work on their skate divisions, or actual skateboard shops/distributors. Fuck Amazon and fuck Decathlon.

Fuck it, if your corporate brand has a skate subdivision: NB Numeric, Nike SB etc this counts as skater owned and run.
The skater owned brands ain’t got money from under their mattress, they’re getting loans from the bank. Everyone is owned by someone that ain’t got a clue what a skateboard is.
Just buy them from a real skateshop.

Mmm…Lakai isn’t skater owned. Hasn’t been in a few years. It got bought out by a company. I forget who, but it’s not skaters.
Sole Tech…Weird one. Sole Tech doesn’t exist now. It’s part of Nidecker. Pierre now just part owner with 3 new people (The Nidecker brothers) who are in the snowboard biz. They skate a bit but not pro guys.
