Shoes

Is this a skate shoe?

I’d try a pair if I wasn’t broke and they came in darker colours.

So their basketball sneakers turned skate shoes for Tiago. Love Tiago but not 170€ kind of love.

I saw the price and did a lol…

John Dilo pro model from Hours. I’m really liking what they’re putting out.

Not sure I could run a shoe where everyone around you had to double take just in case you had DILDO written on your feet.

I didn’t notice that initially because I couldn’t see it on the brown one! It’s a terrible misjudgment on an otherwise lovely thing.

The NB x Chocolate shoe is a good ‘un as well.

A terrible misjudgement to put someone’s own name on a shoe and just because someone might mistakenly think it says dildo, not sure about that one.

Terrible misjudgment is an exaggeration I’ll admit, but it’s too big, placed weirdly and there are hundreds of other pro shoe designs that get it right where this one doesn’t.

Fair enough!

Bluetomato saw it on the Ipath ig stories

Appreciate Westgates have been around for a while but the new black gum is lovely. They skate well too.

Pretty tasty. Might have to try to squeeze these on again before admitting defeat and putting them back.

Vans OTW Trail vibram

Always thought any kind of trail/outdoor shoe a bit useless unless it’s at least a midtop but whatever

Yuck. These look like they have been designed for pensioners.

I am closer to pensioner age than my ‘under 25’ age :weary:

Vans going through a strange phase for sure.

Desperately trying to keep up with what people actually want to wear, and failing miserably, it would seem.

Sad goings on over at Lakai. Alerted to this by Slap and did some light digging on LinkedIn. Soz if ABP.

Lakai were acquired by Inversal at the end of September.
Inversal: “We acquire brands in distressed situations with up to $25M in revenue.”

According to Slap and comments on the Inversal CEO’s announcement on LinkedIn, it looks like Mike Carroll Rick Howard and the rest of the skate team have been cut yesterday.

Can anyone on here shed some further light or confirmation?
