Aye half cabs are probably one of my all time favourite shoes to skate in and never hurt my feet and I get so many pains with different shoes! I remember I used to skate in Chuck Taylor’s when Cons skate stuff first came about and they fit so good then a few years ago tried some and it was like I couldn’t even walk in them.

I still find them ok if I dump the Ultracush insole.
Shame that these aren’t the same any more, they used to fit me perfectly too, I wore loads back then and kept all the Lunarlon insoles out of them, I still use those now
I’ve always kept an eye out for skate Chucks but haven’t seen any for yonks, they were a tkmaxx fave (and one of the rare shoes you could get away with buying from tkmaxx because it’s a timeless design classic and not some weird Element ankle boot with superfluous zip or something)

I have the Dekeyzer chucks. Should have kept them as chillers as they’re canvas backed by rubber and got quickly destroyed. They’re nice and wide which is good for me but the sizes come up very big. If you’re getting some go down a size.

Really liking the look of the new Warsaw mids because the Vans Stage 4 mids were amazing and these look like basically the same thing. Anyone tried them?

Been looking at these Rone Tiago’s for a while. A few places have them half price so tempted to treat myself but they would be the most tech looking shoe I’ve bought in at least a decade.

The pre-yellowed midsole removes about 20% of the tech-factor on those.

Used to tease my Dad for wearing Hi-Tech Silver Shadows. Now they look like trendy retro runners!
They used to be standard issue in the army, you always knew who was tight because they’d wear silver shadows out on the piss
