They look like the OG ones, even the tongue is correct. Good job. I wonder if the stitching on the inside of the rubber bit will give me blisters too? I didn’t care at the time, I felt like I was skating in a 411 when I had them.
These were the first shoes I really felt made me skate better, and it’s probably because of that feeling.
Edit: Actually, Airwalk Ones might have been that.
I might have to grab a pair of those.
RIP to all the new white suede shoes i wore to the mosher club.
prob get a pair of these as no such issues in aldi.
Yep. Brand new cobnobblers with a black club floor stained footprint right across the toe. Wouldn’t budge, although I didn’t try to clean it, just skated.
I haven’t watched that video because I’m in the pub but bitd I really liked telfords. They were like dunks but made properly. The blueprint ones were lovely.
I fucking loved those.
Picked up a pair of DC Centrics (a Kalis pro model from 2014) in navy pre Covid and I’ve been skating them for the past couple of months. I had several pairs back to back when they first came out and they still skate great, comfortable and look well. I’d love to see tech skate shoes shrink again to a more sensible size and lower number of panels like these.
Wait, mine were the ‘Wolf’ but a very similar construction.
When Tony Ferguson said Rone would only be available in specially selected luxury outlets this isn’t what I had in mind…
The discoloured sole looks like the shoe was left out the back since the late 90s
Vans releasing a new version of the Old Skool, called the Skate Old Skool 36+ (I think).
Looks well puffy and weird here.
Looks more interesting after a few skates. Am I the only one getting Chuck Taylor vibes from these, with the shorter toe cap? Is this a marketing strategy? Hhmmm.
Feeling this colourway, the only one that’s not available in Europe it seems. Probably gonna stick to Half Cabs anyway.
I really dislike stubby toed shoes
Those metal eyelets are unforgivable.
Basically the dollin no skool 2. Got the his up in the loft might dig em out
Stinkers these
They do look weird but they look pretty different in the first and in the second picture which is even weirder. I’m not into stubby toed shoes, like @jwdharris16, and love the Old Skool and its big toe cap. I’ll have to see them at first hand to decide what I think of them. The metal eyelets don’t bother me.
I’ve not worn white shoes for years (bit too ‘Status Quo’ for me) but I quite like the look of these in that colour way.
Disclaimings = I have had a few Coronas so opinions may be subject to change.
