They’ll be filling the shelves of the local Nike outlet within a few weeks.
It does feel like an orchestrated push by the fashion industry to make silver the new black this season, whether we want it or not. Fuck that.

Has there ever been a decent silver shoe? Spiridon only, surely? Thought they already did that with the nyjah which was heavily borrowing spiridon cues, but they didn’t have the balls to whack any silver on it iirc. Maybe adi did a decent runner bitd but one that you’d wear to skate in?

Had the 97s in 97 (never heard them referred to as silver bullets) and that’s about it.
Alex Olson had some silver shoes on vans, even then it was met with derision.
Leo Romero’s ‘Skater’ is another example:

I’ve had a thing against any silver shoe since the mid 90’s when my girlfriend at the time bought a pair of pointy silver boots. She loved them and was ‘quite’ put out when I said I wasn’t keen.
These have confused me on the subject because I love an Airwalk One.
