Shoes

I bought my first pair in 2012 and they had been around for a while then.

It’s the lifted heel that killed that shoe for me. Otherwise 10/10

Found these in the cupboard a cool one, Indoor ones

Genuinely curious, how many pairs of shoes do you have @neddy ?

40? Maybe. I wear mostly everything I buy these days – have a few dunks put away but they arent particularly rare.

@buildafire must have more than me.

My Mum is moving house this year so I’m a bit worried.

I do, yeah. I’ve got a lot. For ages I was making loads of money basically doing fuck all, so I pretty much bought every half-decent shoe, with the classic thinking, ‘I don’t even like it that much, but I might in the future, so better get it now’.

Got about 15 pairs of the Tyshawn mid here, from a few years ago, mostly unworn. It’s like being a prepper, but with shoes.

Seriously!?

I operate on a 1 in 1 out basis.

Sick. I’m going to show this…

…and this to the wife. She thinks I’m ott with the 12 or so pairs I have. I’ve got 7 pairs of the Spanky Hi because they’re my absolute fave.

Was eyeing these up last night as I want something to replace the Cons Louie 1’s I’ve been skating (love the look, but they’re a half size too big and have no tongue straps which really bug me), and can’t afford the NB Reynolds at the moment. Do they have much cushioning in the sole?

Also got my eye on the Hobans currently on sale - have you skated these at all?

I’m a cupsole man these days, so I can’t chime in on the Hoban. @Londonskater might be able to give you some info on those.

The Spanky Hi has the same sole as the old G6 cupsoles, which I love. It also has tongue straps and a full foam midsole which is a must for me. The midsole starts off quite firm, but after a week or so it softens slightly as isn’t too dissimilar to the previous G6 foam… perhaps a bit less spring in it.

Black/Tan and the Lotties collab are my faves.

Hobans are good but I felt like they made my big feet look bigger in exactly the same way Janoski’s do.

The Spanky Hi is a cup but it is so thin it feels Vulc. I’m into it, as a vulc person.

I think my favourite shoe is the Dickson. It’s quite tech underneath the basic looks with the flick shield, etc. They last me ages.

The Dickson hasn’t been on my radar, but just had a look and it’s a nice looking shoe. Also on sale!

Would you say they fit true to size?

I guess they don’t feel as thin to me as I throw in G6 insoles into all of my shoes.

It’s actually leaving the line after the summer, so the colours you see out there now are it.

I think someone else would be best placed to answer the TTS as I’ve been wearing Emerica, eS and etnies.
I have always been told they run TTS.
But I do have some non-skate New Balance (Which basically get used to walk to yoga and back and nothing else) and they are a UK11 whereas for the Dickson, I am a UK10.5.

IIRC, NB run half a size too big, right? I’m sure lots of people know here.

I’ve found NB to be quite varied in their sizing. I’ve had 4 different models and each was a different size.

Emerica have always been TTS for me in the past, I just read a few comments about the Hoban running a bit long. But will presume they’ll be fine

Sorry @Londonskater one more question - do you know when the KSL 3s will be released? I like a look of the all white, very reebok looking

A full size for me. UK10 to UK11 here.

I got some NB Villani in a UK8 (my size) and they were so tight I couldn’t get my foot in them, I gave them to a mate who’s a UK6 and they fit him perfectly. Shrug emoji.
