Shoes

That’s weird NB are generally a half/full size too small for me. I find that with NB, adidas etc… and not with Last Resort. I have a vague recollection that someone once told me it was something to do with US vs EU lasting?

Yeah that’s how I find them too, I would have to go up a full size up in those.

Oh wait you’re saying you size up for NB a full size?

I found the Westgates TTS but a team shoe (forget which) a size to small. So hit and miss.

Mid-August. It’s a really sick shoe…

adidas (and presumably Puma) were always a bit out because they’d go by the Euro size, but round up or down for the UK/US sizes.

Exactly the same, I’m a 10 but go for 11 in NB. I’ve got quite wide feet so that gives me a bit more room.

I’ve got some 508s and 480 Numerics that fit TTS, and some NM22s that are definitely half a size small if not slightly more. My NB running shoes are the same. I’m an 8 for reference.

Speaking of NB… Stone Island on Instagram: "STONE ISLAND | NEW BALANCE Coming soon More info at the link in bio. @nbnumeric @jeremyelkin #StoneIslandNewBalance"

I only have Epics and they are half size too small.
What is it with football trainers? I love them.

The new old Accels really are a delight. They’re perfect. Apart from the laces needing swapped out because they were far too long.

They do look good!

I don’t need them but those with black laces would be perfect

What are these like? my old Accel OG’s (now dog walking shoes) are well puffy, but never liked the thin Accel Slims

You used to get both colours in the box. Black, always.

Got to break up that black or I feel too teenage American school shooter goth!

My exact experience

Not slim, not puffy. 100% with you on not liking the other versions. These are just right. The tongue is well padded but definitely doesn’t stick out.

It’s like OG was an L, slim is an S and the latest one is an M. Not too big, not too small.

Got to admit, the in hand pics make them look pretty tempting

To be clearer about the padded-but-not-puffy tongue.

The tongue doesn’t move about because it’s got the elastic straps. ‘Tongue gussets’, as those pervert shoemakers call them.
