Shoes

Nah, I kinda want smarter shoes trainers rather than looking like I should be running.
I do like NB more than other brands. Only ones I own though are Epics and love them but apart from that NB are too sporty for my every day. I do actaully like the look of Knox’s shoe in general as a side note.

Maybe get some footprint insoles? I’ve got some in my work shoes and they definitely help

Too chunky to skate in I found but perfect for day to day

Yeah well I have a few pairs of Mephistos and some Wallabees for that kind of thing. I refuse to buy any suede shoes other than Wallabees after spending big bucks on stuff like Yuketen which turned out to be a disappointment.

Loads of people swear by RedWings but I’ve never really liked them.

Someone on here took my recommendation of Karhu trainers a while back. Not sure how they got on with them, but I find them hugely comfortable

I have had 3 sets over the years and they may have helped but right now I don’t think I could feel good about facilitating Brezinski in any way.

none of my suggestions fit this criteria soz!

They won’t exactly increase your street credibility but I have some Ecco smart shoes and have soft soles which you wouldn’t notice by looking at them and leather is also really good.

I’d wear them more often if I had the occasion to!

Must be another brand making exactly the same thing that doesn’t have him involved

That was me. Got the legacy 96s and they’ve barely been off my feet except for skating. Love em.

Stop using skate shoes as chillers. Too flat and not made with prolonged walking in mind.

I picked up a waterproof pair similar to these these Columbia Konos last year and they’re insanely comfy - went back and got a second waterproof pair for winter which was a great idea - any decent running shoe will do the job.

On Running has some interesting models, but I’ve never tried them - some of their Federer pro models have a lot of skate shoe influences.

Two rights making a wrong here.

theres a video.

Don’t worry, i’m not proper walking in skate shoes. I have some Merrel things for that but every day stuff I flit between various skate shoes but like you say, they are too flat and I want something a little smarter and comfy for going out in.

I have a pair of white Finn Comfort Badens that are really comfy and supportive. They’re pricey new, but not as expensive as Mephistos. I got mine on eBay for £40. I’m on a never ending quest for comfort footwear and had a long chat with the postman the other day who was raving about his Skechers.

They also come in much less ostentatious colours. I still love my Clarks Nature IIs (as skated by Simon Evans) but they’re not wide enough for me anymore. There’s a mint pair of UK 10s on eBay right now.

Living large!

That shoe is dangerously close to becoming a croc with all those holes.

I’d like to get a pair off all-white Crocs. My family give me a lot of shit when I wear the Finn Comforts. I have a thing for ugly, utilitarian footwear. I’ve been rinsing my Keen Uneek sandals this year. Really good for walking and cycling in. Unfortunately I left them outside last night and something ate the shock cord laces.
