I think everyone pronounces the W in Ipswich, don’t they!?

Looks like other regional dialects use “ow bist” too - Old English throwbacks…

I live an hour from Ipswich and I pronounce it Ipswich.

Ipswich with a W.

I have no cause to say it so I don’t know. I’d overthink it if I did, now.

With a W… Ips-ich never heard that ever? It’d be like saying Sandwich without a W. Sand-ich.

sammich, i guess they if i lived there i’d remove the ‘s’

ipwich

I briefly lived there, but removed myself.

When I lived there a local told me locals didn’t pronounce the W.
Ips-ich, kinda.

I haven’t been there in 14 years and am not sure how people said it now. Oh well.

Areas in the Midlands that lose their “w”, where I would still pronounce it with it include, Blidworth, Rainworth, Southwell.
They become:
Renerth.
Bliderth.
And suthall

Are they red wings or mahabis or something?

Ugg?

I might get some flack for this but i just got some DC Maswell for house/garden purposes. Nice and comfy and a big thick sole.

Not the colour I’d choose but I’m into the design.

ooh your bmx buddies gonna be jelly.

Been rocking eS Slim and the Accelerate’s since they came back from “hiatus”. Not tried the mids, but keen to sometime.

eS with another reissue no one asked for.

We’ve been there, and moved on for a reason.

To me they’re just desperately trying to find an old model that will somehow become popular now. I don’t know why they don’t give Wade or Asta pro shoes.
