I had some Brown leather and gum Kenny’s for work, really liked them for everyday shit, ended up as gardening/decorating shoes. Could never have skated in them, I just liked the look as a chiller.
I had the tan/orange white kenny v2s skated well from what my memory serves me. I then got the Kenny standard, talk about on extreme to the other in shoe design!
Just picked up some blue eS accel slim on there site for £25. Haven’t had an eS shoe since the tan PJ Ladd accel plus, which I loved

Looking back on it I’m not surprised Adio went out of business; they really held on to the chunky cupsole thing way longer than any other skate company did, aside from DC, Etnies and some Vans models that had way more mainstream success (Court Graffik from DC, Cinch and Calicut from Etnies, and the Vans one was the Widow, wasn’t it?). Then their stable of pro riders towards the end must’ve been expensive without actually bringing much revenue back, Shaun White and Joey Brezinski in particular. Researching this post I also found out Creager was riding for them when they shut up shop, which is a combo I’d never have put together.
It’s probably become the worst time to try and break into the shoe market but it’ll be interesting to see how this company gets on.
