Ok so the skateboarding is amazing can’t say it isn’t but….

The edit is dead as fuck, so robotic and shit tunes. Something about every single fucking truck landing on the beat grates on me.

Don’t think his footage would look better edited by someone else? I know Justin Albert is dope but no personality in it.

Also when someone lands like a fakie tre the same way down like a fucking 15 as they do on flat bugs me I don’t know.

Lid game, awful. Beard annoying. I don’t wanna completely hate on Miles as he is super good.

But with Toms edit, there’s a personality in there and something to relate to. Not just because he is from the U.K. I don’t get who watches a Miles clip and wants to buy his product.

20 year old me would have loved this clip so yer I’ll shut up.

I wrote something similar (about Knox) earlier but got distracted by the new Czarface album and binned it.

Tom Knox makes me want to skate. It’s in the details and trick selection for me.

There’s something about the tension in his shoulders/upper body/hands before he does a trick that makes him hard to watch for me.

Couple that with the ego hands throw after certain tricks and it’s very hard to enjoy/relate to it.

If SOTY was based solely off of one part, (which it isn’t, obvs), then Miles would be getting my vote. IMHO beats Tom, Shanahanz, Pedro, TJ, Jack O’Grady, Dilo and Yuto etc, if all you do is take just the last part they dropped. They all have wardrobe malfunctions at some point in their footy. The only real negative in Miles’ part was fit related. The one that everyone hates on/ laughs at…

Pedro’s section felt the most Thrasher and gnarly but gotta say imo Yuto is probably the best overall. That Tokyo section was so good, had everything; tech, gnar, good spots etc.
With the new section on Monday that’s gotta be the win for him.
Still love that Miles sw fs bluntslide though.
