The right choice. His part was the one that impressed me the most. It just had standout technical, gnarly skating. Only other one to come close was Yuto’s Nike SB part from the summer.
But he will be the SOTY that we forget when trying to remember who’s won it in a few years’ time.
Weird choice. The part was very good obviously, but that’s just it, the part. What else did he do all year to justify the award*?

Also, possibly a bit of a win for “classic” style video parts. No mad zooming on the Miles part.
Although I am going to need to watch it again as I found the editing a bit bland.
