Me Tony Hawk part was supposed to drop on thrasher today but they can’t get the music rights sorted. Last minute SOTY run from the bird man?
Bit of an odd post from Thrasher to hype up the new Miles Silvas part that drops on Friday. Is it 1:30 from the part? Is it throwaway?

Agree. Stopped watching it because of too many potential spoilers.
Based on that 1 minute and 30 seconds, he doesn’t have a chance of winning SOTY
New hair new SOTY
No matter how hard he tries and how much he desperately wants it Miles Silvas will never be cool. Amazing skateboarder but just don’t care, he makes me cringe
That guy is so boring to watch.
Incredible skill levels but nobody cares - shit fits too
FTFY mate
Was Miles Silvas the skater who wanted to get on Palace but got refused? Or was that Diego Najera? Or both?!
I bet the Miles Silvas part is really sick, but can’t see him getting SOTY.
He’s a good skater I just think he doesn’t have any personality so you disassociate yourself from him and his skating
That was Dill
Yeah his fits are just him jumping on a trend way too late and doing it with zero flavour
I always remember Miles Silvas Away Days part to be good I remember being stoked on the intro flip back tail as that spot HAS to be way jankier than it looks, although I hadn’t noticed the self props right after which does mar it. It’s ok, track stinks not as good as I remember but highlight line at 2.15 ish.
There should be no arguing that the Noseblunt at 2.48 is probably one of the most proper noseblunts ever done on a handrail. Yes, there are more iconic ones but as far is trick definition, that has to be there.
I’m saying all this and I’m still never gonna click on that insta link. that shrug thing
Everyone wanted to get on at one point!
And AVE.
I thought this the other day. Did a quick Google and there’s a Slap thread (naturally) and an interview with Solo Mag where he’s begging it a bit in print.
Say what you want about Palace, but I like how “real” for want of a better word they keep the skate team and skate output. Similar vein to Anti Hero. They had every skateboarder in the world trying to get on at one stage (Dill, Pontus etc) and turned them down because they’re not their mates and they want to keep it trill.
That question they ask him about Palace and the pull quote they put is super weird tbf
I feel like there was some sort of Palace product/ ad caption heavily implying Miles tried to ride for them but I don’t think that interviewer is referencing that it’s just Solo being a mid magazine with shit interview questions as always
Solo interviews have always been shit, but fucking hell, making a dude who doesn’t - and never will -skate for Palace say he’d like to skate for Palace is very weak. Maybe it’s an SEO thing.
Miles was wearing a lot of the Palace x adidas gear around the time of Away Days. Maybe they set that interview question up as a way to fish for a sponsor after Numbers fell through?
Had a shit week at work - pure rofl from the above comment
