Obligatory tourist post

Nice, there’s a couple like that around me. Would give the old raiders of the lost park segment a run for their money.

Chaddlewood in all it’s horrific glory (I think). Plymouth really did throw up some terrible parks in the suburbs.

I was looking for a photo of the “park” on Miller Way, I walked through it once as it’s opposite my wife’s work. All I can find is a newspaper article on an update to the graffiti wall, which is essentially all the skatepark is.

I’ll defer to @voodoo on this but I think that could be Thornaby?

Long gone though, I think

Yeah Thornaby. If you ever got the train to Stockton (Mischief) it was/is actually Thornaby that you stop at, then hope over the little bridge and you’re in Stockton. The short lived indoor Ape skatepark was in Thornaby too.

What the actual fuck, how has anyone rolled away from this spot look at the floor. Puig what a don.

There’s a bump to ledge that Lucas switch crooks in this section here at 2:10 which is worth watching then looking at IRl just to see how insanely large it is. Unbelievable.

If you carry on walking just past it, away from the town on that coastal walk there’s a really nice waking path /park type thing along the sea cliffs that’s a nice scenic spot

Woops, forgot to post the location. Just here:

My platonic life mate who I make videos with has been living on/off in Spain so a lot of our current project has been filmed there.
I went on a deep dive of local skaters via the towns skate shop insta where he was living last year and found this hubba on a 7 year old post from one of the older skaters.
Either he didn’t want to give it up or rarely checked insta because he never replied when I asked if he would be happy to share it (hadn’t posted in a few years so I think a dead account).
It took me around 20-30 hours over a few months to find it on Google maps.
Went there IRL and was so sore from the few days before that I couldn’t skate it. Couldn’t even make my body Ollie into a 5050 to warm up.
Cest la vie

Whoah. Is it as good as it looks?

Was planning to go there a few years back before the floor was done up so I could post on insta and feel superior to everyone else.
Pathetic
