Spot spotting

Yeah loads of MK heads have got clips there. Bedford is bank heaven to be fair, the train station has a banging brick hip and Euston banks out the front also

French ledges

Begging for a long front nose and a gap to tail

For a split second I thought the Santa Monica ledges were replaced.

That’s a middle management gap to tail. No interns doing that.

Back in Brum for the week and had to check one of my favourite spots on the way to work.

The spot is like my old flat - looks tight from the outside but surprisingly spacious when you get inside.

@TerryTibbs, in that area, has anyone hit this ledge to rail?

I’ve seen some bits on it on Insta - Woodley, Henry Fox, Marcus etc

Problem is with Brum, there’s no filmers anymore or local companies working on video projects (that I know of).

People just film clips and chuck them on Insta.

I may be totally wrong on this as I am out of the loop nowadays and just stick to Bournbrook once a week if i’m lucky!

Loved the mid 90s Brum. Central TV, then Library, China bank and then round Aston.

Brum one weekend then Notts the next.

Banks and hips (and motorised dragon!)

Edit

I should have added another photo of the lizard

yeh, Cloth’s pretty much always on tour nowadays

You know skatings dying in this area when this is untouched. 9 1/2 stairs, next to the skatepark. Been there about 2 years and as far as I can tell it’s untouched.

Everyone wants a curb now.

That’s my point, I can’t remember the last time I saw a skateboarder under 25

Good article about that.

I know a fair few yoot who I say hello to. They’re not out street skating from what I can see/tell though, just hang around the park. My mate also has fair demand for lessons too.

I’m defo grandad status though.

Scootering is very popular - and likely a lot of those kids would previously had taken up skating. But scootering has a lower skill entry point and is easier I guess. There was one who fucked his scooter off and was pissing about on a penny board last night which was funny - butt boarding down banks etc.

Yeah. There is a youth skate club in our town set up in a church hall. People seem to be drawn to safer spaces now.
Cant blame them tbf. I don’t want to interact with the public .

I never see younger teenagers skating, all the kids round here seem to all be into roller skating. There’s usually a huge meet up of 20-30 kids every evening.

I do see a lot of early 20s beginners though, especially girls. Anecdotally it feels like people are maybe coming to skating a bit later now?
