Spot spotting

very normal setup at those times. Tum Yeto/Watson laminates deck 8", thunder or royal trucks with thin rubber risers and 53-4mm wheels. Hasn’t changed much since 1995.

Looks like it’s all be re-jigged now but these two parts looks particularly sick.

I wonder if someone like Milton Martinez can see potential in the overall rather than the detail.

i.e. some crazy gap into an unthinkable bank.

I found this today. It’s in the middle of nowhere and not skated. Brand new

The banky things are rubber but rock hard and could probably skate it normal wheels, defo soft wheels

Ledge spot is legit amazing

Ha that’s mad. I have to walk through so many half built estates around the country.

Are these all the ones you can see from the M11 which seem to have been in the construction phase for the past 10 years?

You might be able to. Private message me for pin.

@OAS spot update. A kind soul had added some angle-iron to this bank at the top of Broad Street, is now aching for some back 5-0 revert action.

Take me there now.

Looks like they’ve filled in the cracks in the translation too. I’m back in Brum in 2 weeks for work. Could actually hit this up in my lunch break!

So much harder to skate than it looks, but a rad one for sure!

Yeah, run up alone is super awkward. When I saw the angle iron I was thinking front crook fakie. In reality it’ll be more like rock fakie.

All those recently posted banks above look amazing. I would love to see some more interesting angled / hipped / stepped / multi-level / multi-angled banks being built in skateparks, instead of the usual attempt at a “China Banks” replica.

There are some mildly varied banks in the skatepark at Wednesfield if I remember correctly. Some are pretty steep, which is better than the bleedin’ bloody 30° not-even-45-degree dullards you get everywhere else!

and not a single one of them is built correctly or to the schematics!

Should have said hello

The urbex vid which just popped up on my youtube feed makes the outside of this look potentially pretty good to skate

16min in shows some of the outside

It’s skateable - people have had things there. Maybe a couple of Death videos?
Went once with Conor Charleson. Came up with something banging but couldn’t get it.
Pool was open and they didn’t give a shit that we were lighting it up at night and skating/filming.
