Sis covid test came back negative, my ear infection is slowly going and I can sleep peacefully again, somehow I was placed on a call back list I wasn’t aware of by the audiologist (It’s been closed for ages with COVID going on) and I got an appointment booked for a week’s time to be seen.

To top it off I got through to HMRC to push on this potential fraud claim where someone’s basically cashed my refund cheque from over a year and I’m hoping, hoping this will be the last thing I need to do on this matter..

Found some Penny footage that nobody has ever seen the other night.
Haven’t looked at the tape for 26 years.
So so drunk when filming it so don’t expect too much but still…

Made an order with Slam, they rang with an issue that was sorted over the phone with ease.
Good boys.
Not a big thing but any positive experience with customer service and web orders are not to be sniffed at.

Had the day off for little man’s birthday but managed to squeeze in an hour for some guitar fiddling, got some new socks and built some Lego with him. We’re watching Despicable Me on the sofa and he wants nuggets for dinner. Good day

prompted by wig and @deadhippie post about the tower hill double set i found my photos of mike maldonado nearly doing it the day before he shot it with Wig - way back in 1997. As with so many of my photos they have been in a box in my loft for over 20 years and never been seen until i put them on my insta today.

this was so fucking crazy to witness in real life. i was with channon king and our mate john and somehow we ended up randomly bumping into Bam. Mike and Kerry near South Bank. they wanted to skate soemthing different so we went over to the tower hill spot intending to skate the blocks at the front of the building. was instant bust but as we got kicked out they saw the double set and Bam said to mike ‘you can do that’.

we thought they were joking but nah. he stepped up to it immediately and came so close to making it. looking closely at frame 5 i think he might clip the last step. there was a bin lorry doing the bins and they didnt even wait until they had stopped, Bam and Kerry just went and stood in front of the lorry in the road. i think this was the only attempt as he fucked his legs up a bit - but yeah he went back the next day with Wig and nailed it.

as i recall Bam and Mike were super chill, but Kerry was so quiet - i dont remember him skating at all, or even standing on his board. this may have been before anyone even saw much footage of him.

i ended up working at this office buidling in 2015 and walked up those stairs every day and thinking how nuts it was to ollie them. as a true geek side note - the buidling was also the exterior shot of the office in the TV comedy show The IT Crowd .

found this one of kareem from radlands 99 too - bit hard to make out where the board is in the air but i assume it is the infamous ghetto bird - mad how high he is

these all look like they dont have any flash - why i am not sure…
also found a couple of mike V and some others - any thoughts of any IDs for the rest?
