Really stoked on how this little home office tuned out for my mum. She’d wanted this for a while as she is now working from home quite a lot. Excuse the random lamp and the drawer thing on the right they are going this weekend. Measured up some blinds. Just happy she’s happy - ordered from me (Desk, Chair, Keyboard and Mouse) so was shitting myself, especially as I did the measuring, once old furniture is gone will look a treat.

Had a productive day and finally got round to putting an old poster of the moon in a frame. I think it was my dad’s as it’s been kicking around since I was a kid.

Slightly on the wonk, but it’s been in the tube for decades and its more tightly wound than a politician who forgot to clear their browser history.

Nice.
But there’s more straightforward ways of showing off your new shirt.

Had a cracking day today out all day in the sun, really felt like spring. Got up early so drove up the coast a bit with our daughter. I took my board so we parked a couple of miles outside Blackpool and we cycled/skated up to the deserted resort. I had a nice little flat ground session on the comedy carpet there. Made our way home for a bit then went back out near here where we bumped into a few folk we knew walking about, met lots of ace dogs, got hot chocolates from the beach kiosk, played in the sand dunes. Then I’ve just been back out for a lovely run and now I’m having a Guinness.

Didn’t notice how much reflection I got there.

Also didnt realise how much my nose looks like a cock and balls.

Same! Woke up and the sun was hot enough so you could feel it through the window. Went for a cruise while the kid rode her bike. Flowers were out everywhere. Came back and did a banging Ariel Mermaid paint job on her face. Scampi for tea like I’m in a 1993 beer garden. Browsing New Deal t shirts and remembering drooling over the Ibaseta and Sargent decks when I was about 9. Tempted to buy one! Finally feels like things are getting better.

Went to a local ish skatepark today.
Was packed with skaters, all probably 15-18 in age.
Every single one had an 80s style board.
Spotted two Snelling Blast boards and a Dead Dave clone.
They were doing early grab backside airs listening to Minor Threat on a speaker.

I chuckled and then went and skated a kerb in the carpark instead.

I’m feeling excited and also a bit scared to be skating vert tomorrow. Haven’t been on a big ramp since before lockdown but the weather is dry and the guy who owns the ramp says I can use it for a solo session. By tomorrow I’m either going to be buzzing or in A&E

No chance Id be skating a vert ramp in the middle of the woods solo but more power to you

I did a Kickflip on flat today - didn’t really skate, making sure Arthur didn’t die / skatepark etiquette was adhered to by a 2 year old on a scooter.

My son just laughed at me. It was actually decent. Gutted.

Didn’t Ali Cairns have some sort of accident skating a vert ramp on his own and then disappeared from sponsored skating around the same time?

My first time on a film set since October/November last year. I’ve been editing loads of stuff since then, but nothing beats actually grabbing a camera and shooting some cool shit.

Was it a snoop dog video shoot?

Way better! We’re shooting in one of the oldest cinemas in the UK. The story is about the history of the cinema and the organist.
He still plays before every film!

That sounds awesome! Where is it?

I bought this, put it with my ā€˜the tidy lot’ and forgot about it, so pretty stoked on remembering of its existence. Brand new as well, mun.
