IIRC he was skating his vert ramp in the middle of nowhere solo, broke his leg and his mobile was on the platform so he just lay there screaming in pain until someone found him

Thatās put me in the right state of mind - todayās solo session postponed till Wednesday due to the ramp being repainted today in the dry weather. Iāll keep my phone down at ground level

Learnt frontside slappy grinds yesterday, finally! The spot is a fair cycle away though, so hoping a more local spot isnāt a bust. Itās opposite a police station and got told helpfully that it wasnāt a skatepark by a copper lol. Yes, itās a private doctorās car park but if itās empty in the evening I see no harm really.

Went Skateboarding had fun. Starting to feel it again maybe. My legs feel like lead when I skate at the moment. Did a Kikky up a Wembley gap.
Also fresh pair of white Superstars to skate. Gunna take a while to break these fuckers in. So good after 5/6 skates. Grew my hair in lockdown so can put it in a ponytail, wear Adi trackies and pretend Iām Gustav.

Bought a record. Not done that in ages cos all my hifi stuff is packed up because we have no room till we get our arses into gear to sell and move.
Feels good though. Music is good.

Similar boat, my missus hates my tall speakers and doesnāt want them the the living room, gonna get some smaller wallnut wharfdale jobbies.
With Daft Punk splitting up it might be a good time to flip this first pressing I bought for a tenner about 10 year ago.

To be fair I think the Mrs is missing it almost as much as I am, but weāre currently in a little two bed terrace and with a 2 year old space is very much at a premium. Hopefully going on the market in a few weeks though, and the big speakers will definitely be coming back out in the new place.

I got that too, so good proper hyped on it, even the wet dream article from one of ( if not the ) first RAD s I got. I had poster of Sean Goff doing a boneless on my wall for years.

The boneless poster with all the RaD stickers on the lip? Me too. And that Wet Dream issue would have been my first or second issue too so Iām really glad you liked the mag thing.
