iām fully on mask wearing, no issues there. however i kinda feel like if someone is stood next to me giving me a tattoo for 6 hours and they have covid, iām going to be getting it with or without the mask. similarly, how come i can get a haircut without a mask but not a tat?

iām so mega stoked i could cry. iāve been messing around with my setup loads this year and moved up to 8". my latest deck also had a longer wheelbase than i am usually riding
today i setup with a new deck, 8" again but a shorter wheelbase and it is heaven
got all my tricks back and they feel great. heelflipped over a skateboard which i havenāt done in ages and requires my special meter to be high
feel like iām 15 and just discovered skating again

Tell me about it, I stepped up to a 8.125 popsicle after skating that shape but only in 7.875 for over a decade yesterday. Loving it so far, works well with 144s. Gotta skate more flatground and see how that works. Hungover now but going for a quick skate if the weather allows it.

it didnāt take toooo long to get used to the extra width. a lot of it was mental stuff about how it looked different when i put my foot here or here. i think i just picked a really stupid deck to move up to. too concavey and too long wheelbase

A while ago my mate was driving our friend home, before he dropped me off home, and I clocked some building work at the side of the road and glimpsed a spot behind all fences. Iām totally glued to it, looking at it through the window ā yelling āspot!ā out loud, scrambling to get my phone to get a photo, etc.
Since then, I had totally forgotten how to describe where it even was, to find it again, as I donāt know that area of Leeds at all.
Went and got my vaccine today, walked out the place towards the nearest bus stop and instantly landed back at this spot.
Itās literally bang opposite the entrance to Elland Road Stadium, which is currently a vaccination centre ā and also pretty fucking hard to miss. And I was too preoccupied when I saw it the first time to even realise.

Why a shrimp? Just asking cos Iād love a tattoo but can never decide what to get, which is probably a good sign to not get one. So always wonder how people decide what to get.
And why not a prawn? If that is a wave above the crustacean, does that make it a saltwater creature?
