Stoked!

I’m guessing 5 Bridges wouldn’t really interest them, so will have to put in a bit of travel effort for once, haha.

All I see is you talking at Saffron Walden everywhere haha. I know they are good.

Am hoping they come to Birmingham, it’s listed on the map at least. Not sure where they’d skate, Bournbrook DIY maybe but dunno if that’d be gnar enough for them. Love the poster.

It’s the 19th on Saturday, are they announcing venues like 1 or 2 days before. Going to save some money for the train in case they come to Brum, fingers crossed.

You could definitely make an educated guess based on cities with good big tranny.

Deaner is a no brainier obvs, as is Raemers park and Stockwell.
I’m guessing possibly Preston, New Bird too and Horsforth outside of Leeds.
All conjecture of course but :man_shrugging:t2:

Enjoyable day, good park workout, then football and later on the first day skating in about 3 weeks - the weather and my available time have been mutually exclusive. Last night’s storm left loads of gravel from the entry path to the park all over one end of the floor. Mad windy, so better than nothing.

Got the van all packed for a little festival up in Ravenglass this weekend. Mostly a bunch of bands I’ve not heard, can’t wait though. Been to loads of gigs in my life but never a weekend festival before.

Seeing them skate with Bolt Thrower blasting was a dream. Best day.

Currently in Wales (just) with my family and little drone.

Sunday morning = panned across the river and got it stuck 40ft up an oak tree.

Obviously unshakeable and too high to climb / throw stuff at, I wrote it off as idiot tax and moved on to save domestic bliss and not ruin the holiday obsessing.

Sunday afternoon = after sitting on the pan not obsessing, I drove to a garden centre for 10x 6ft bamboo canes and a bag of tie wraps. 10x 6ft bamboo canes tie wrapped end to end are heavier and wobblier than expected.

Monday = after not obsessing all night I ordered a catapult for next day delivery.

Tuesday = after not obsessing for another night I collected a small selection of round-ish stones ready to hike the fam back down into the valley.

I didn’t hit any canoeists, mountain bikers or horse riders (that I know of) but did get my drone back - a little battle scarred but it flies ok.

Anyway. Stoked.

:joy: Good effort. I’m glad I’m not the only one who lies awake obsessing over mad plans

Gutted the AH team didn’t make it to Bournbrook last night as rumoured.

However, there were so many people down there we had a sick sesh and saw some old faces. Good times!

French’s exhibition tonight. Daz’s Centralla event last week. Brum is buzzing again!

In Sardinia, kids made friends with some other kid from London. Parents seem ok, they pulled a table over to join us at dinner. Ordered a bottle of rose cos my wife doesn’t drink but they do. They didn’t drink any. I did. Restaurant couldn’t work out how to split the bill fairly so just halved it. They paid for half my €50 bottle of rose, lol should have had a glass.

Now back in my room getting steaming at a discount :+1:
