I’d seen it was forecast and was expecting some barely discernable glow and then to see loads of pictures the next day people had taken with proper cameras and long exposures.
But nah it was fully blazing across the sky, just stood there gobsmacked for an hour or two or however long it went on for.
Also ticks it off MrsG’s bucket list so that’s probably a few grand on a trip to Norway saved!

Oh man I’ve just opened Facebook and it’s full of amazing images of it in Chepstow. I was awake at midnight…had no idea about it! Gutted!!!
