On holiday in the Peak district from tomorrow until Wednesday, climbing/trekking. Not been away for about 6 years haha. Got a cheap out of season cottage on airbnb.

Just about to go see earthtone9 + Helmet (30th anniversary of Betty tour, too).
Dead excited since I couldn’t get to see earthtone9 at ATG due to well, COVID. And Helmet were great last time I saw them.
Not so stoked is the lonesome drive back 't Wales later (couldn’t get more leave to stay and go back tomorrow). Oh well.

They did all of Betty, went off for a bit, came back on and did a few proper early cuts from Strap It On. They also did the track they did with House of Pain and even covered Symptom of the Universe.
ET9 were really good, too. Was well chuffed to see them on the bill. I also didn’t know they actually had their name from the lyrics of In The Meantime.

First full day in Iceland and I’m loving it. So nice.
Also first time driving in snow where it’s absolutely belting it down and all. That was an experience.

Iceland is absolutely fantastic. I’ve only been in winter but really want to go back in summer. Apparently the seasonal difference is so big that it’s like 2 different countries entirely.

Off work now until the 6th as i didnt have time to use all my holiday up. Left quite a few projects unfinished but im too burnt out to care.
