Made a really good leek quiche and ordered custom Canadian license plates with the names of some of my now gone beloved hens. The garden shed is gonna look dope when I’ll have custom plates for all my chooks. #countrymusicinspotify

Organised anotherr BJJ seminar to raise money for MacMillan Cancer Support.
Raised nearly £13,000 over two events.
Second one was more special as it was dedicated to my Dad who is currently going through cancer treatment and nominated MacMillan.

Been on a school skiing trip in Italy. Managed to get a full days snowboarding in everyday for 6 days. Minimal fuss and zero injuries. Just need to make it through the 3am wake up rounds and trek home.

The fucking sun is out and it’s not chilly. Took the kids to the beach for litter picking duty disguised as a scavenger hunt, they won haribo and are living the dream.

Got a little skate in but now legs are fucked.
Played a pool comp yesterday, won first match even though I played terribly and lost second match against top player but I played well. Happy to get a 4 frames against him.

Wife has lump in her neck, tests have been run over days and weeks and finally given the all clear this morning, it was a benign tumour. Been quite stressful not knowing, the only comfort being that no one seemed to be too worried about it, even though apparently it’s been wreaking havoc with her metabolism and energy levels because of where it is. Stoked she’s clear though.

Had leaving drinks tonight for my job. Sadly my maternity role didn’t get made permanent so I’m technically unemployed as of eop tomorrow, but I’ve had 7 pints and no dinner for my leaving drinks, so that’s a problem for next week

Kind of neither. There’s a few articles previously in Jockey Slut (which is who disco pogo are), a bunch of interviews with people like Mike Paradinas and Tom Middleton, a thing on the guy who did his logo, pieces on about Drukqs, Syro, remixes, videos, his hardware … etc

The sun’s shining, I feel human for the first time in 3 weeks and have finished work for the weekend. Walked the dog to the local for a 0% in the sun and sat here on my tod absolutely loving life. Amazing what good weather does to your mood!

Booked the return journey late in the eve so can have a jolly in the pub before heading back.

Got my sky bill from £130 (was about to be £140) down to £80.
Called up the first goon who said some absolute bullshit (they said I needed a HD package to be able to pause and record tv(??))and reduced it to £100.
I read my confirmation email which was a new broadband contract I didn’t agree too and spoke to another person straight after who said…yeah that’s bullllllshit and got my tv and broadband bill down again.
Stoked. I’m so bad at being an adult so this feels like a massive win.

I got my internet through BT and 2 phones through Everything Everywhere. Apparently they’re the same company now and I’m nearing end of contracts so perfect time to sweet talk some double discounts but I just can’t be fucked, because; adult stuff/pied off with bullshit.
