Drove to Brighton on Monday to see Andy Evans and pick up/drop off some DV tapes for capturing. Brighton is lovely.
Saw David Gilmour’s house in Hove, intriguing design etc and had a great time.
Thought I’d fucked my back again after 12 hours of driving in 24 hours but went swimming and fingers crossed.
Half term thanks.

Went out last night. Got footy. All of us got something. Hit a new-ish ledge spot and even 'lil 'ol me got a wee line out of the bag.
Went home by 12. Slept like baby.

Went London with daughter for a week. Londonskater gave me a ticket to see Baker 3 at Richmix with him and some other heads and it was really fun!
I won a skateboard in a raffle there too! Brilliant.

Also my knowledge of skate videos is so shit I thought baker 3 might be new and it was a premiere. And I’m pretty sure I went to the London premiere years ago. Even though I’ve watched antwuan’s section about 100 times.

Just got 't Hull after going to London, to start my camping trip up Scotland (via my gaffa in South Wales, so 'ell of a trip in distance so far).
Nice to finally be off again and not be thinking of work. Not thought about the driving much at all.

Should have been back to work today, but there’s a burst water main thats cut off water to half the city since yesterday morning including my daughter’s nursery.
Slightly less stoked on the short notice despite it being obvious they wouldn’t be able to open as was just about to head out the door this morning, but currently at the zoo with my daughter enjoying an extra day off.

Work give us an extra day off after every Bank Holiday but it was too wet to skate so went to see Warfare at the cinema this afternoon. Was ace on a big screen with massive sound levels.
Good wee tour of the norff of the UK, essentially. Did a good run in the car, aye.
Saw lots of lovely nature. Got soaking wet. Stayed in a bothy. Met a fella in said bothy who was walking for 3 weeks in the nature to kick methadone. Interesting fella. Anyways, got to see more Scotland and Peak District and hang with my mukkas 'aving a larff.

One of my good friends recently got diagnosed with lung cancer and we don’t know how long he has to live as lung cancer is gnarly. This has been stressing me out loads these past months. I mean, we were already skating together before Mouse came out, that’s how long we’ve been friends.
He started getting treatment a while ago, is feeling better and even came skating with me today. Seeing him skating was so heart-warming, emotionally very uplifting. I don’t know what’s gonna happen, nobody does, but I’ll probably remember today’s skate forever. The vibe, the light, the smiles, the tricks we did together… It was fantastic.
Let’s not take things for granted.
