Hopped on a school outing to the local park today with Year 7 & 8. Lovely couple of hours out and then received this text from my colleague this evening, for reference he is 7 years older than me.

So so so incredibly stoked!
Just had a call with my oncologist. After 10 years of dealing with thyroid cancer in one form or another, Iāve been fully discharged and am no longer a cancer patient!!!

Bristol Whisky Lounge at the Beacon today (nee Colston Hall). Midday start (why?). Drank some amazing malt. Couple of Kingās Street pints after. Made it home in one piece. Happy days.

Weekend trip with the pals. Intensely hot and hard to skate but matey got an ender for our video then running on the high got another clip straight after. An abnormally large polish chap on an electric scooter stopped to watch and slapped a 50 quid bag of weed in his hand after the make and whizzed off into the sunset.
I almost cried.
Went to a lovely little Bnb guest house run by an old Irish boy, whole place decked out in nice Irish paraphernalia and it cost a pittance. Watched Neil young on Glastonbury and had a beer and cautiously smoked the mystery weed.
Woke up, got some more clips and all decided to leave early today and leave on a high.

Had a lovely Instagram DM interation today with Toby Patersonās son about Glasgow skater emo. Definitely made me feel old but now Iām listening to My Rushmore and Heaven know Whatās āCali Flatsā (which I assume is named after Glasgowās notorious high-rise Caledonian Flats - which also coincidentally happened to be demolished today). Very odd.
