Varifocals do take a few days to get used to and the seasick thing is really pretty brief, but I quickly found I can’t use mine for screen work.
I’d had distance glasses for driving and then computer ones for work and when reading got tricky and I’d reached the point where I couldn’t legally drive without glasses I thought I’d just go varifocal and have less pairs. Didn’t pan out as like you say, for computers you need a bigger area in focus to work with.
So now I have varifocals which I wear almost constantly and then a separate computer pair for work…
Tom schaar, the Delfinos, Kieran Woolley, Greyson. Few others.
Greysons kickflips are crazy. Check my story for a sick one he did over a transition hip, but he also kickflipped a 15 foot driveway, which I don’t think many people had considered ollying.
I can’t skate until mid-March as I had surgery last week. I spent the last week chilling at home but went to my local skatepark for an event tonight and holy shit, it was so great. Seeing two of the best rippers in the country skating that park we spent 3 years rebuilding was very enjoyable, and seeing tons of old friends was even better. Bye-bye cabin fever. Roll on spring! Can’t wait to skate again but happy to have so many good friends, beautiful souls.
Just been to see a podiatrist. Chopped 6 corns off the ball of my left foot. Before it felt like i was constantly treading on rocks. Feeling amazing now.
I presumed corns were great big blobs on the side of your foot, but these were tiny. Smaller than a grain of rice.
Don’t worry. Not going to post any pics of my feet.
