Stoked!

Fuck yeah champ! Do one or two every time you skate and they’ll be kind of not a big deal at all really soon!

Nosegrinds are so fucking cool. Feel so good every time. Try backside ones too!

Thanks Franc. I used to be able to do them without thinking too much, but have had a real mental block to committing to them the last couple of years. Stoked to have got the feeling back and break the fear (no easy feat at 46 years old!). Used to be able to do them backside too, so maybe that will come back too!?

What coffee are you using? I’m using an espresso blend from a local coffee and donut place. I’m making a double shot but once I add the milk it isn’t strong enough for me. So either need to add an extra shot or look at something a little stronger. They do, do a strong AF blend or try another local coffee place that have a wider selection.

Try the Sainsbury’s own espresso beans . Silver bag, strength 5.
Lovely coffee for £2.50.
If you want an even pokier cup, go with the lavaza espresso beans in the black bag.
I’ve tried loads of different brands but keep coming back to Sainsbury’s own.
Especially the Gautemala beans

Awesome I’ll give that a shot when I can there. Thought about getting some of this from a local place https://www.johnwatt.co.uk/product/darkroasthigh-continenental-blend/

Not that we are high risk but I’ve given up any chance of getting a slot. Food bill seems to have gone up though. Normally buy own brand but that isn’t in so have to buy what’s available and in turn costing more.

Someone left this near our mini today after we found another one near by. The Facebook group name is on the back and a neighbour paints them and leaves them around the local area to find.

Coronacache

Went down the uni in the sun this afternoon for a skate. Mrs and littlun were out for a walk at the same time, so met me there and she had her first go on a board outside, seemed to love it too. She also giggled her little head off trying to walk on the grass (which we don’t have at home).

Then I went over to the multistorey for a bit of shade and bumped into a lad I know who was skating with a few mates. Was really nice to skate with people (at a distance, obvs) and have a bit of a laugh.

Now waiting for Thai takeaway to be ready to pick up. Not a bad day.

Nice

Oof what was the score on that bad boy?

60 for zygote I think, then I played the S separately for that extra step closer to divorce.

Little feature on a local website about my photography. Nice.

Quick session in my local car park, completely failed to get into a slappy but managed to land a few shuvits and ollies are getting a lot better. Also managed to manual three spaces, which is a definite win for me.

Feel like I’m monopolising this thread. Anyway, this worked surprisingly well.

We are essentially living parallel lives on this basis of this comment.

It’s the middle aged born again skater way (apologies if you are none of these things).
