Booked an actual holiday. We’ve had fuck all time off since last year, and what we have had has been spent doing decorating and shit.
We were supposed to be going to a wedding in Ireland in October, can’t make it now so we’ve booked a week in a holiday village thing in Filey. Not the kind of thing we’d usually have gone for, but with the littlun and all the madness hopefully it will be a relaxing week.
Our luck we’ll end up locked down and unable to go but fuck it. Fingers crossed.

Someone I know was saying that the car in front did that for them at the drive thru the other week (just the drinks). Seems to be a new trend?
It’s been about for a bit. Pay it forward or some American bollocks.
Thing is you’re supposed to then pay for someone else’s drink or what have you.
I’d be too embarrassed about the whole affair to be honest and would want out.

Crowd funder for an art project I’ve been involved with went live this week, and has already nearly hit its goal. Proper chuffed (and I’d forgotten about it cos it’s been on hold over lockdown).

Sent out my 2nd freelance invoice today. Not much money but it’s a start, whilst I try and juggle another opportunity and try and apply for real jobs.
Still not sure what to do. How long do you have to be driving to become an instructor everyone needs that haha.

Hi all, cheers for the welcome after I finally got round to signing up and posting something, shame it couldn’t have been under better circumstances though.
To use a phrase that I’m not particularly fond of this forum business has a pretty steep learning curve. I don’t do social media anything and so this is all kind of new to me. If one looks at the forum as a skate spot, I don’t want to be the new guy who turns up all guns blazing, snakes the locals and tries to comp everyone, therefore kooking myself out before I get a chance to skate the place. I’d rather be a corner kid for a bit than get labelled a T-Dog.
You may have seen that I have removed a post I put up in the Not Stoked thread yesterday. I genuinely wanted to join that conversation but on reflection can see how that my post may well have been misinterpreted by others as me bigging myself up and being a bit of a dick. I’d like to think that I’m not and that was by no means what I meant to do.
The lesson I’ve learned in the past few days when it comes to being a member of the forum is not to try and switch hardflip before I can push properly. A few nods here and there and a whatsup to the locals would probably be advised before trying to fully bro-down with them 
All that being said, I am properly stoked to be on here and hope I haven’t put anyone’s nose out of joint already. I have seen people arrive on here and crash and burn after making a few I’ll informed posts. Definitely up for a bit of verbal rough and tumble on here as I know that it’s generally good hearted and a bit tongue in cheek… just going to keep the old training wheels on for little longer though.
You guys have entertained me for a good few years now and so I have that strange feeling that I actually know you all. I realise that I’ve just wandered in and that you all have no idea what I’m about yet. Note to self: take things a tad easier

It’s all good. Now it’s down it might as well stay down. I didn’t remove because of what you said. I fully get you were joking. I don’t have any decks but I do have this set of wheels you could buy. You just can’t look at them first and one of the wheels is absolutely not carved out of a potato…
