I’ve not watched any Penny footage from when he was good.
Probably should - what’s best?
Really? This is a good one to start with:

i think (hope) he’s trolling. not watching penny isn’t like not watching sopranos
Should’ve guessed he was trolling with the “when he was good” patter.
i mean i could be wrong
It’s a shame since Grosso passed that there’s no more Loveletters, plus Thrasher stopping with their “Classics” feature means that some mandatory “school yourself” parts might get lost in the tide of new footage. Having said that, the relative footage drought of lockdown has maybe led some of the younger generation to check out older building-block videos, dunno. Shout out to stuff like Chromeball incident, Manolo’s tapes etc for presenting old classics in a new light.
Couldn’t find the TV Film thread so I need either a film or series to watch tonight, something really good. I feel I haven’t seen so many recent things (past few years)
Looked at the Dark thing but I get weird about missing kids or is it worth getting over myself to watch?
12 Angry Men. Its fairly recent from 1957.
Leon?
Heat?
Other great 4 letter long films?
What kind of stuff are you into? Ever watched any Wes Anderson films - darjeeling limited, grand Budapest Hotel? Alternatively something like the John Wick films - ultra violence stuff
Series on amazon prime there’s “the boys” would recommend
Seen most wes andersons, loved Darjeeling especially.
Really Les? Next thing you’ll tell us is the last skate vid you watched was the Storm.
Only one I didn’t love was moonrise kingdom. Favourite is probably life aquatic
Probably. You can’t improve on perfection so why bother watching anything else.
Add The Storm to this list.
semi-sorta-trolling notreally.
I was on a footage hiatus when he was at his peak, so I just don’t ‘get’ the status
Ill watch the clips.
You’ve got to be joking. Fucking hell mate.
Don’t get me wrong, I can see why some people don’t like the storm but its still essential viewing. Defines an era blah blah
It’s got Daxter Lussier and Dave Coyne.
I thought Dave Coyne was quite fun, in Black cat too.
I didn’t end up with a film or series, just watched a docuthing about Rockfield studio on channel 4 (I think)
Ooh lucky you, we watched three hours of friends (while I had the football on on the side)
