It’s a shame since Grosso passed that there’s no more Loveletters, plus Thrasher stopping with their “Classics” feature means that some mandatory “school yourself” parts might get lost in the tide of new footage. Having said that, the relative footage drought of lockdown has maybe led some of the younger generation to check out older building-block videos, dunno. Shout out to stuff like Chromeball incident, Manolo’s tapes etc for presenting old classics in a new light.

Couldn’t find the TV Film thread so I need either a film or series to watch tonight, something really good. I feel I haven’t seen so many recent things (past few years)
Looked at the Dark thing but I get weird about missing kids or is it worth getting over myself to watch?

What kind of stuff are you into? Ever watched any Wes Anderson films - darjeeling limited, grand Budapest Hotel? Alternatively something like the John Wick films - ultra violence stuff

Don’t get me wrong, I can see why some people don’t like the storm but its still essential viewing. Defines an era blah blah

I thought Dave Coyne was quite fun, in Black cat too.
I didn’t end up with a film or series, just watched a docuthing about Rockfield studio on channel 4 (I think)
