Hahaha what the fuck
I know right?
It’s a cult, Berra at the helm and his kooky ways/business decisions don’t help him or anyone around him.
If that guy was there purely trolling, he knew it would kick off with the cult leader on site, so he can’t expect no backlash.
Would have been better if the cariuma posters got taken down without anyone being seen.
ESH… So dumb
Berra looked like he was having the worst time this weekend. Flipped off the cameras at one point and also messaged the Secret Tape to tell them they were ‘mean’ for encouraging people to tear down Cariuma banners.
Wonder what his actual role at Cariuma is?
I think he is a marketing consultant - the same role he had at DC. Before DC fired him and became good again.
Turned this on and saw him chatting to a carryuma’d Mike v and thought I’ll just wait for the highlights.
Yeah, his resume isn’t great. He presided over one of the worst eras of DC and hist marketing vision seems to be use the Berrics to promote whatever brand.
…and I think they are DTC only. They won’t sell to skate shops.
Shall we sign up for there affiliate programme?
They will. They emailed skate shops everywhere with a link to their wholesale page back in May.
Ah, ok. I actually knew someone who was trying to get stock for their shop. They had no luck at all…this was earlier in the year, though.
Yeah I don’t know if it’s actually as easy as they made out to order them in the UK…obviously I don’t know anyone who went for it
I do. ha ha.
Actually, it’s someone who works for a big online retailer but they do a skate division thing. They are an old friend and hit me up to see if I knew how to get them, which was quite funny.
Famously all the ones the athletes drink contain water.
Yeah, the Announcer even said while giving out the awards over the mic ‘I’m really thirsty. Could someone get me a Monster Water?’
That Roll-In seemed to catch a few people out, when setting up for a trick. I’d say they’ll be rid of it ASAP.
Heard that too, yep. Maybe from an early Street League.
Definitely not all.
I’ve known a fair few people who have ridden for those companies over the years - at varying levels - and all know of the cans filled with water and all name another pro who they heard runs 'em on the podium - but no one I’ve met has actually had one in their hands, it seems.
It might be a full urban myth at this point.
