Jeez, he must have a heart like an ox. And be permanently stressed. I’m getting palpitations just thinking about it.
Or he’ll be dead. I had a pint of it when I was there, since it was easier to just hold up four fingers at the bar and get four pints the same than try to order in the middle of an Alpine ‘beach party’ populated exclusively by posh English teenagers.
Fucked me up, it did. You can feel it in your teeth, and its like you can feel the blood going through your veins after a bit. Still, took the edge off having to listen to Sex On Fire and Mr Brightside.
Shouting along to Mr Brightside after a pint of vodka redbull actually sounds like a good night out ngl
When we were about 20 my mate stopped drinking for about a year but still came out on nights out. Instead of drinking alcohol he just had a redbull for every drink.
He may as well have been doing cocaine, it probably would have been safer
I stayed up for 48 hours on red bull to do my dissertation at Uni by the deadline and was hearing voices and hallucinating after the first 24 hours. The conclusion section I wrote last was like a Hunter S Thompson passage.
I drank ten Red Bulls at one of the Manny Manias in London once, it was great to be honest ngl. Had to lie on the floor of the tube on the way back. Manny Mania was amazing
Speaking of caffeine, just realised I’m on maybe my 5th or 6th cup of the day. That can’t be very good
never liked coffee, never understood the caffeine high even when I was addicted to coke. I understand the addiction though.
My taste is changing though, coffee is smelling much nicer and a few coffee flavoured things are becoming appealing.
A random bar manager forced me to try a drink as I said I hated tequila. She mentioned it was tequila and coffee and I doubled down that it was going to be the worst drink on the planet, but OH NO! fuck, no idea how they manage to complement each other but jesus it was one of the best alcoholic drinks I have tasted.
The soft drink Coke? Or the lower case coke?
I’d never tried an expresso martini until quite recently. They’re delicious.
anybody here tried yerba maté (the south american herb drink)?
I love it, though it tastes a bit like cigarrettes and mud. Argentinians put tons of sugar on top.
I get a really smooth, grounded and focussed energy from it (unlike with coffee/caffeine, which to me is dead spiky). Used it all the time when writing for deadlines.
It also makes you feel like a mad wizard shaman (or, a pretentious wanker) when you drink it from one of these
The drink ha. Sorry for the lack of capitalisation.
Just trying to keep a tidy forum here my man.
